"Excellent host, super clean, breakfast is absolutely amazing and with a large variety of choices. The king sized bed, and large fluffy white towels feel as though you are in a spa. This host thinks of everything right down to the ghiradelle chocolate. Lots or privacy, great communicators, and committed. To making our stay special and memorable. We have visited twice and love it each and every time. You will not be disappointed that you chose this venue. Beautiful, country setting but within 10 minutes to downtown Henderson. "The hosts treat you like family! Gorgeous nature surrounds this serene setting. Also, I have stayed at AirBnB places all over the world, and one thing that is frequently disappointing is the bed / mattress / sheets. You will LOVE this bedroom and will not be disappointed. "Heading east of I-40 we stayed at Cedar Down Farm. This is a beautiful log home in the country. Everything about this lovely home is top notch. We had the upstairs bedroom, upstairs bath, and sitting/breakfast area all to ourselves. Matt and Becky are gracious hosts that provided everything and more for our convenience and comfort. In the morning Becky cooked us a delicious generous breakfast of our choosing. We had fruit, orange juice, eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, milk, tea, and coffee. "Matt, Becky,(Cooper & Ziva/ fur babies) and family were most extraordinary and gracious hosts! They were extremely easy to communicate with and over the top accommodating. Your room, bathroom and common area are cleaned and ready for you with military like precision. Everything is thought of in advance for you, making your stay at this beautiful slice of countryside a true heavenly retreat. "I've stayed at many airbnbs and Cedar Down Farm has by far been the best - not only the best value, but the best - period. Everything was spotless and intuitively/thoughtfully organized, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. I ate the best eggs I've ever had, fried to perfection. The bed was so comfortable. "Cedar Down Farms was a lovely place to stay. The Cabin is so cozy, and the hosts are incredibly friendly. I loved seeing the animals as well. "Cedar Down Farms is extremely relaxing and just kind of "feels like home". The hosts are very nice, accommodating, respectful of your schedule, and seem to have thought of just about everything. If you forgot something, they'll probably have you taken care of! The room/bed was very comfortable with a couple different pillow options. Everything was extremely clean, and you have your own "nook" area to eat breakfast. The hosts offer several breakfast options, to include some of the best pancakes I've had. The property is very well kept, with easy parking. We thoroughly enjoyed the hosts' pets (there was no pet odor, or pet hair), and they did make sure to keep the pets away from the guest area. "One of the best places we have ever stayed. Really recomendable. A great (MUST) stop, even when it is not your way. Becky and Matt were just great. Nothing can be said bad about our stay. Actually, we will end of short with the following list: great host, made us feel at home, beautiful house, extremely clean, delicious breakfast, flexible and adapting to our needs, delicious last minute dinner that Becky offer us, clean laundry folded in front of our day the following morning, beautiful nature and farm animals. "I HIGHLY recommend Cedar Down Farm! It is hands-down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, and I have stayed in A LOT of Airbnbs. The hosts are so friendly, but gave me ample space. There is a breakfast menu with wonderful options. Endless coffee, tea, and chocolate in the room. Amazing stay, comfy bed, sparkling clean room, cozy vibes. "What you should expect as a future traveler to Cedar Down Farm: 1. Gracious hosts who provide a warm, welcoming environment. 2. A home that is super clean, comfortable and restful. I loved walking their property. I even had an epiphany about a stressful situation I was dealing with. What a blessing. 3. Super cute animals in and out of the house, I fell in love with Simon, Nightmare and Cooper especially! 4. THE MOST AWESOME BREAKFASTS WE'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME! Becky gives you a menu to pick from and it's healthy and delicious. Vegan and gluten free if you want that. My husband and I have lived and traveled in a lot of places including Europe and South America so when I say it's awesome, I mean it and my husband can cook a MEAN breakfast!! 5. Just go. "Cedar Down Farm is a fantastic place to spend some quality time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Becky and Matt are great hosts. Their home and farm are beautiful and the hospitality is fantastic. The room living area is clean, cozy and decorated very well. And that breakfast! The fantastic breakfast was the highlight to our stay. There were a multitude of options to choose from and Becky had everything covered. "We have literally stayed in Air bnb all over the world and not one could begin to compare to Matt and Becky's Cedar Down Farms. Becky's attention to detail was something you would expect in a five star hotel. The house is spotless and beautiful. The warmth we felt from them could only come from the heart. The grounds around the house were as neat and well kept as the house and the the animals and dogs and cats were a Joy to watch and play with. Matt and Becky sing and play guitar. They sang and played while we were there . Beautiful voices and guitar playing. The only breakfast we have ever had that could compare to Becky's was at a five star hotel in London England. The breakfast alone is worth the trip to their house. Thank you for making our stay one of our memories we will cherish. "My stay at Cedar Down Farm was nothing but exceptional! When I was browsing through the listings and saw the pics and read the reviews, I knew this is where I wanted to stay for the night. One of the many things I loved about this place is its location. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway for the night, this is the place! Becky has an outstanding talent when it comes to attention to detail and ensures her guest are well taken care of! When I first walked into the room, I was blown away! I have stayed at many hotels and Air BnB’s throughout my travels and I have to say that Cedar Down Farm was hands down the cleanest, most inviting, and most positive stay, I have ever experienced! The bathroom was exceptionally clean and the towels were so soft! The bed was super comfortable and as the rain fell on the roof throughout the night, it made for a perfect nights rest! Most hotels have crappy coffee makers, well not here! They have a French press in the room because let’s be honest, it makes the best coffee. They are a loving family and if you have a love for animals, then this is definitely the place for you!! If I ever find myself coming back this way, I know without a doubt exactly where I will be staying.
