COWS:
We currently do not have any breeding cows on our farm. Of late we are raising just a couple steers for meat, mostly for personal consumption. We do occasionally have extra beef to sell at processing time. However, at this time (2025) we have no extra meat available.
SHEEP:
We work with hair sheep (no wool breeds). Our goal is to breed for parasite resistance and good hooves, rather than large carcasses and faster grow-out weights.
We raise our sheep for sale and for meat consumption. Most of our lambs are sold between 3-6 months old, and are priced at current fair market value for our area. Most of the meat processed we consume ourselves, but occasionally we do have extra. All sales are posted in our local Craigslist (Jackson, TN).

See the Sheep subheader for more detailed info on our herd.
Chickens
We have a flock of laying hens and enjoy plenty of fresh eggs daily.
